Long before they were conquering the wilds of Barrie, Ashley and Spencer’s story began in the mortal realm of Oakville, amidst the flashing lights and roaring music of a Sheridan College concert. For a time, Spencer was a fixture of Ashley’s living room court, sleeping on the couch and blending seamlessly into her circle of companions. But destiny had larger plans than the friend zone.

Following graduation, they officially bound their paths together. They spent years exploring the diverse territories of the GTA, escaping to northern cottage sanctuaries, camping under the stars, and immersing themselves in nerdy lore and gaming. When a dark age (the pandemic) struck the land, they didn't falter—they adapted, built new careers, and relocated north to build a sanctuary of their own. Today, they are the proud rulers of a household blessed with two beautiful daughters: the pioneering Violet and her joyful little sister, Eowyn.
